SME2 PLUS pipe chamfer (diameter range 40-315mm)
A pipe chamfer is a professional tool for chamfering and deburring the ends of plastic pipes. We use it in the process of preparing the end of a PE pipe before electrofusion or polyfusion welding. It can also be used to properly prepare the end of the sewage pipe for proper insertion into the socket with a gasket.
Appropriate chamfering/beveling/deburring of pipe ends allows you to easily insert a PE pipe into a sleeve, a PP pipe into a heating stone, and a sewage pipe into a socket with a gasket without damaging the surface of the PE fitting or the sewage pipe gasket.
The SME 2 Plus chamfer is a light but very durable device made of aluminum alloy. The chamfering device is equipped with a handle that facilitates chamfering by fully rotating the device around the beveled pipe. On the SME 2 Plus, the blades in direct contact with the beveled pipe are equipped with a non-stick PTFE coating to make turning the device much easier.
